The food is great, service was on time with a smile. The only draw back is the parking. It's hard to get in and out.

Update: Never fails to delight. With DoorDash it arrives warm and delicious. It has become a family weeknight favorite. This place is amazing! The lamb, the Greek potatoes - yum, just yum! Hummus and warm pita will make your whole day better. A must try in Atlanta. No indoor seating. There are tables outside, so you don't have to take it to go. Parking right next to business in gravel lot.

Hubby & I were stationed in Athens, Greece - mid1980s. We stumbled across Nick's, visiting The Arboretum, almost 20yrs ago! AND IT'S STILL our favorite Greek food in the US. Good Olive oil is important. (The family has had an "Olive Plantation" in Kalamata for over 100yrs!) You're getting REAL GREEK FOOD only slightly changed for Americans. & reasonably priced for the quantity & quality - you cannot compare it to other American Greek food. Their tzatziki is to die for - made fresh in house. Most of the recipes are either Nick's (who has had the Restaurant since before the 1960s), or his wife Eleni's (who sadly passed away about 2yrs ago, while home in Kalamata, caring for Nick after a heart attack), or Evi's (their daughter, Head Chef, bottle washer, CEO). Most of the counter staff are either family members or friends of younger family members. (Nick is retired & enjoys his time with his grandson & other family members in Atlanta.)

Nick's Food To Go has been the serving the same great food for over 15 yrs I've been coming to have the gyro and fries combo! The first or last stop depending on my flight. If you enjoy eating a great gyro in your car or on a picnic table this place is great!

Authentic Greek Flavors Worth the Wait A local favorite, delivers authentic Greek flavors in a no-frills, takeout-focused setting. While seating is limited to outdoor picnic tables and restroom facilities are absent, the quality of the food more than compensates for these minor inconveniences. Be prepared for a wait, as the high demand attests to the popularity of their delicious offering. Our order consisted of a delightful array of Greek specialties. The lamb gyro was a standout, with tender, well-seasoned lamb and fresh toppings. The spanakopita was flavorful, a perfect balance of spinach and feta. The Nick's burger, a unique take on a classic, was juicy and packed with flavor. The Greek-style fries. The falafel pita was also very flavorful, and a great vegetarian option. Each dish showcased the rich and authentic flavors of Greek cuisine. Parking is very limited. If you are going during a busy time, be prepared to potentially have to find parking in surrounding areas.

Walked here after attending a mass. Bought a gyro with side of tzatziki to go. Ended up eating at the cemetery less than half a mile. Been craving Greek food for a while now. Gyro was awesome & very filling. Very fair price. There’s also an outdoor sitting.

Best Gyro in ATL hands down. I am glad to see this place is still here and still exactly as it has been. The area around Nick's used to be gravel lots and half vacant warehouses. Today Nick's stands out as a snapshot of the old neighborhood now surrounded by new apartments and condos. The shabby little brick building still stands, serving amazing Greek food through a little window with absolutely the least interaction with customers possible. Expect tight parking, limited outdoor seating, and a substantial wait before your name is yelled out the service window and you can gratefully accept your amazing food. Michelin has acknowledged the unique and amazing contribution of Nicks to Go with a small plaque. This place is not to be missed.

We stopped by to grab two lamb Euros cabos. Everything was super good. It's a shame there is not much seating outside or inside but the food was good. We had to eat it in the car which was a little messy
